We require a Clinic Manager in Clacton-On-Sea to undertake full responsibility and accountability for the clinic you will be from a renal dialysis background and be accountable for the following :-
Clinic’s compliance with all clients policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations, ensuring that the clinic is prepared for audit 365 days of the year, Continuous improvement activities at the clinic level, you will also develop and promote good working relationships between client and the referring Organization, delegation and management are essential for fulfilment of this position
You will be required to manage scheduling of patients / staff to ensure optimal efficiency while meeting contractual staffing ratios, planning annual budgets / forecast / revenues. Full autonomy in terms of managing P & L.
Supervising patient care planning / monitoring / delivery of patient care through being present in a clinical capacity by Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care programmes, ensuring safe use, control and administration of drugs in according with the NMC / centre policies and procedures.
Implementing systems of quality control and clinical audit to monitor treatment outcomes,
Reviewing patient prescriptions / treatments to meet defined quality standards. Assist in the completion of audits and assessments as required by the client and external parties (Trusts, CQC).
You will also be completely responsible for recruitment / retention / development of clinic staff (meaning nurses, auxiliaries and administrative personnel). Conduct Performance appraisal review practice and provide on-going support to all members of your team reviewing clinical practice training and development where necessary. You will maintain your own professional and educational development by keeping updated with current trends within renal nursing.
- NMC Registration level 2
- Post basic Qualification in renal nursing i.e. diploma, ENB course 136 or equivalent
- 5 years Experience in Haemodialysis working at a senior level
- Experience of managing and leading a team of nurses
- Understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and its implications for Independent Healthcare providers
- Effective communication skills both written and spoken
