Are you an experienced Breast Screening Radiographer looking for a new opportunity with the National Breast Screening Programme ?
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Mammographer to join our clients Breast Screening team based in Guildford, Surrey.
Breast screening the women of Surrey and NE Hants is carried out on a fleet of 5 mobile vans,
Assessment Clinics are staffed by a dedicated multi-disciplinary team of Consultant Radiologists, Associate Breast Clinicians, Advanced Practitioners, Mammographers, Assistant Practitioners and clinical and administration staff following the NHSBSP principles of triple assessment – mammography/ultrasound, clinical examination and needle biopsy).
Skills and experience
- BSc in Radiography
- PG Cert in Mammography
- HCPC registration
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively, using a variety of methods bearing in mind the diverse nature of the clients who attend breast screening
- Be able to work co-operatively, across organisational boundaries, cultures and diversity to achieve shared goals for the breast screening service and for the organisation
- Maintain and demonstrate the appropriate and necessary technical knowledge for breast imaging and continue to refine relevant analytical/technical skills as well as professional judgement.
