As an ICU Senior Staff Nurse at our clients private Hospital, you would act as a deputy to the sister/charge nurse. The senior staff nurse is instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care are delivered. To be an advocate for the patient, working within the multidisciplinary team. Day to day smooth running of the unit working together with other clinical areas to ensure safe patient flow. Provide effective communication between all members of the multidisciplinary team. Ensure high levels of professional behaviour are adhered to at all times. To communicate effectively at all levels within the multi-disciplinary team.
We are currently looking for qualified Nurses to join the Intensive Care Team. With our nurse-to-patient ratio frequently at 1:1 or 1:2, giving you the opportunity to do what you do best: Care
You will have the opportunity to work across an extremely diverse and acute patient-load covering a range of specialities, including Cardiac, Liver, Neuro & Spinal – giving you the flexibility to specialise in a specific area or keep your work varied and your skills challenged. As our units are equipped with the latest technology you have everything you need to provide specialised care to our level 2 & 3 patients.
Skills & Experience:
- Registered General Nurse with NMC pin.
- Significant post-registration experience in ITU
- Completed Critical Care Course, ideally 60 Credits
